The internet has weighed in on what the new name of a research vessel should be: Boaty McBoatface although it remains to be seen if they will go forward with that name.

While I understand their reasoning for NOT naming the vessel itself "Boaty McBoatface", they went and screwed it up anyways when applying it to the dingy! "Boaty" is not what they voted for. Either use the name in FULL, or not at all.
