Just seeing how many people work in retail or any place that gets really busy. I work at an Office Max and at 6:15am when i went to work their was about 400 people waiting outside. This was my first year working on this day and i couldn't believe it. When you hear about people running into stores to get stuff on sale you laugh but i've seen it first hand, its true. People actually do run and fight for sale items. People are insane!

 

Yeah I used ta work for a Circuit City and OMG it is complete chaos on black friday. Every freakin wacko in the world comes out to shop on that day.

 

haha. i normally work on this day. Sears Auto Center. however, today i got it off due to a family wedding. you wouldn't believe how busy it is on a place like my job. everyone drops off their car at the auto center and goes into the mall to shop. We, along w/ everyone else, opens at 6:00. after an hour or so, its usually a 3 hour wait for any service. its rediculous.

i can't believe how many ppl go out so early just to save a few bucks.

I work at Best Buy, this was my second Black Friday. Last year I had to be there at 5am to open at 6. There was hundreds of people outside waiting to come in.

This year I closed. Someone needs to help the people that come in at 10pm and ask if we still have any of the 6 hour sale stuff left. Get a life!

 

I work at Best Buy as well. I closed the store, had to straighten up the mess from the day. Saturday we had alot of people return stuff they got the good deals on. Weird...

 

yea i work at radioshack ppl were lined up for hours before i even got there (and i had to open at 5:30AM) its totally crazy. sweet if you make commision!!

You would think the time people have waited in line for the good deals, isn't thier time worth more than like at the most $20 in savings ??

 

yeah a bunch of housewives who got yelled at for buying too much crap that was unnecessary because it was on sale

 

I went shopping at best buy, bought about $450 worth of stuff, I'll be getting back $300 in rebates laugh.gif . Can't beat a 50 pack of DVD+R's for $3!

 

I work at a grocery store so friday wasnt my problem... it was the wednesday before it... and good god people seriously, youd think theyd do their grocery shopping a couple days before they had to cook the stuff, but oh no. Up until we closed (we're a 24hr. store, that thursday was one of the 6 days a year we close) there were lines the to the back of the store. it was just nuts, i coulda killed some of them! you couldnt walk without bumping into like 7 people

 

It was weird, Saturday night we got out truck in with some of the stuff from the two day sale, I wanted to go home early so I started unloading it at 8 or so. One of our frequent customers came in and was able to get 4 of the $3, 50 packs of DVD+R's.
