What are your pet peeves and what bothers you the most about cars you see on the road?

 

anything new. in 2050, you won't have 2010 Mustang restoration. you will have 1964 Mustang restoration. why? because the design is THAT powerful. it is THAT successful. it is THAT beautiful that it will inspire endless generations to come. the new cars do not.

 

Stupid Fake chrome or gold on every damn edge or trim piece. Annoys the crap out of me.

half arsed rice annoys me greatly

 

stick on hood vents..... slow a$$ cars with just mufflers that go around town reving at everyother car they see that they think is a sports car

 

School buses. I know, not a car, but still, the worst piece of selfish junk on the road. I hate the way the just selfishly put out their stop sign moments before you would have passed them. No thought of actually waiting for another 1 second before popping out the stop sign so you don't have to wait for the little kid to give his mommy a hug, wave at his house, and slowly meander onto the bus.
There was one bus driver that I passed at the same point on my way home from work every day (literally in the middle of a cow field) and I know he would race to get stopped moments before I did just so I'd have to wait for him to dawdle around. There was even one day I was halfway past him and he threw out the stop sign and laid on the horn probably because I 'passed while he was stopped'.
And do they really think oncoming traffic is supposed to stop or slow down when their yellow light start flashing?? I dare say no. Huge freaking NO. I've seen buses drive for over half a mile with their yellow lights flashing, they're no longer a warning signal - it's a huge case of the boy crying wolf. "I'm going to stop, I'm going to stop I'm going to stop. HA! Tricked you, not stopping here!" I mean, if I stopped or slowed when I saw the yellow lights come one for an oncoming bus that's still a quarter mile out, and he still blows by me doing 45mph, that's simple and pure abuse. The big yellow bus gives them no special priviledge and authority beyond what the law says, yet they seem to think they're the highest law in the land. Courtesy, respect, kindness - school buses are exempt.
I have lost respect for just about every school bus out there. Without fail, they tick me off every time, and have never seen one single bus do anything to restore face.
Same goes with the 'yo mamma' crossing guards, but I probably don't even need to go there...

Yeah, off-topic, but crossing guards really piss me off. My car's exhaust is loud, and gets LOUDER when I slow down (backpressure?). I can be going 10mph in a 20mph school zone and they'll yell at me everytime to slow down.


My biggest pet peeves would be the fake air vent stickers on fenders, and people driving slow in the far left lane (a.k.a. fast lane). Nothing pisses be off more than going slower than the other lanes when I'm in the PASSING lane. I usually drive in the passing lane because I'm always in 'passing mode'
