Ooh, Cichlids! I forgot I had some. I also had a 10" Albino Tiger Oscar and a 5" Jack Dempsey. They were awesome, especially the Oscar. He was NOT a dumb fish. He knew who I was and got skirmish if anyone else approached. He would even jump out of the water to bite fingers. tongue.gif

I'm renting a home, so I can't build a coy pond yet. That's why I have the whiskey barrel. But I'll definately have one when I buy a house.

a green terror (i had since he was small.. hes about
4 catfish (all different)
1 blackghost
1 fish that kind of looks like dolphin... looks weird and is pretty aggresive.

I also have a cheap 1 dollar clear glass fish (the ones that have paint injected into them that glow in the dark)

The guy was supposed to be a starter fish but has surived despite some of the aggresive fish. I have actually seen that fish trying to eat the crab...

ill have to get a picture of my buddy's koi pond. it seriously looks like something you would see in a zoo. beautiful.

I know what you're talking about. What do you feed him?
Look out for those catfish. If they get big enough, they can be extremely territorial.
A friend gave me a channel cat that got too big. He tore up my Oscar and Jack Dempsey at night who are supposed to be one of the most aggressive tank fish.

Anyone got any LARGE fish?

i just finished setting up my Koi pond over the weekend. Well not completely done but i have fish in there. Right now i have a normal gold fish, a fan tail gold fish, 2 Shubunkin, and Koi. They are all pretty small right now but should get decent size by end of season. Ill take some pics later and post them up.

 

where did you get the koi im trying to set up a pond too
