Beta Swapped Accents Check In Here Please
Denisst I know your beast. When I get bored with the Tib I think Ill put the motor and trans in an accent. That would be crazy with the 35R.
Im liking mine so far. Going to bring it back to NA I think. At least for now. I need a good daily. Also need to fix some wiring. But even NA with the beta it should be a fun ride. So small. I actually love the styling also, everyone says its ugly.

i meant that its good that the car is lighter, depending on the year they can look awesome even though no one else i know thinks so, and the downsides are i dont think they have power windows and locks, and i'd really miss my tibs styling. but it would be so much fun
my beta accent was running about 250 whp/torque and i'm in the process of detuning it for various reasons....it felt a bit dangerous to drive/too twitchy at full throttle on the street (light/short wheelbase), the exhaust was too loud and the hockeypuck mounts and spring rates were too hard. i replaced the 3" muffler with a 2.5" muffler. much quieter, but the car dropped about 20 whp.
i built the car as a hobby project, but i dont street race so the power seems a bit redundant, and requires comfort tradeoffs that became hard to rationalize
but i've been playining with the wheels/tires/suspension for about 10 years and just finally got the look i wanted. banana.gif

5 years later, i still wonder if a nice turbo 1.5 sohc is easier and cheaper:
