Best jogging pistol?
I was thinking the Ruger LCP or LCR. I have a compact glock 19, but I'd like something even smaller so it doesn't jiggle jiggle when I'm running
Any other ideas?

where are you going to keep it? Hip strap under shorts, ankle strap for added weight resistance, pant pocket?
Maybe you should pick a different part of town to go jogging... or carry a billy club instead

I'm looking into getting the Ruger LCP. Even though it's not the smallest in overall size, it's the thinnest I know of.
There is no such place as a "safe" place to jog anymore. Criminals go to the nice parts of town because that's where the money is.
My truck was stolen in a very nice part of town by illegal Mexicans. I live in a nice neighborhood and my GF's car was broken into in our driveway by landscapers.
I'm a firm believer that everyone qualified should carry. Maybe if enough criminals got shot in the head......

don't get me wrong, I wasn't suggesting he shouldn't carry, but I went on a bike ride at 9:30 last night and never considered having to take a weapon. Maybe I'm too naive.

Amost every victim thought they were "in a safe part of town".
"I never would have suspected that guy."

Thanks. In the last 2 weeks, theres been 3 people mugged at knife point. I live in a very nice area as well (typical suburban housing development). Thugs are coming in from the city and waiting for people to leave their homes so they can break in during the day, or go after them while they're jogging to steal their house keys. Police presence has been ramped up in the area, but I'm not taking any chances and waiting around for a cop to drop his coffee and donuts to come help me if some ghetto a**hole tries to pull a knife on me.
I'm not worried about the house getting broken into since I have a home alarm, and Im armed like the wazzooo!

If concealed carry is prohibited, F the law if crime is high - what are the odds of getting stopped & searched by the police as you are jogging vs. getting knifed? You might also look into Kel-Tek .380 or 9mm subcompacts
