any of the Gran Turismo series are by far the best 4 is gona kick major ass

 

Yeah but they take too long to finish man. I get frustrated. No doubt they are an awesome series. I would appreciate better sounds, like changes when you add exhaust GT2 had that but in GT3 that part was weak.

 

Burnout 3 - Takedown

I hate car games but god damn I love this one!!

Its a little arcadey, which helps tongue.gif

Its cool because there's three different modes -- Racing, Takedown (smash x number of cars in 3 minutes in a race) and Crash something or other where you drive your car into intersections and try to cause as much damage as possible.

The music is awesome, it feels tidy and god damn is it fun!

 

My Girlfriend loves Burnout 3, i think it's the whole thing about chick like to crash stuff, i dunno i maybe wrong, but she does get into it, she also likes nfs underground

 

I loved rad racer for nintendo, anyone remember that? I used to play that shiz for hours smile.gif I love GT as well. Another good PS1/2/dreamcast title is Tokyo Extreme Racer.

 

I have yet to play NFS 2, i do own NFS 1 and it is good, Racing sindokit, it was okay at best....

As for the best, definatly Mario go-cart owns... that was a fun game

 

I would have to say that Gran Turismo 2 for PS1 was the best car game. The tracks were great, the tuanability of the cars was really good.

I have xbox now, so I don't know how GT3 is.

 

OMG, as I was reading this thred, I was trying to think of the name of that game!! That game was like a baby sitter to me, best investment my parents ever made!!

Man, I think I am going to go and try to find a copy around here.

 

i was a big fan of Mario Cart on SNES. Also the original Driver on PS1. those games rock
