Default Barber shop or salon

Guys…do you get your hair cut at a barber shop or at a salon? How much do you usually spend to get it cut? I go to a barber shop near my house. They cut my hair and use a straight razor to trip up my facial hair. Pretty cheap too. Only $10 for both, but then I usually tip around $5 too. Theres always funny conversations happening too when I go.

I spent $25 on a Wahl hair cutting system in the late 1990s and never paid for another haircut since. If you want to calculate getting a $15 trim once a month, you're looking at a $2000 price difference.

One of my mates owns a women's salon, so I go there and get my hair cut. It only costs $10 and I end up smelling like strawberries afterwards.

No homo.

Salon for me, been going to the same place for as long as I can remember.

The gals always know what a girl wants, so it comes out amazing.

And they use pepermint oil shampoo and conditioner!

I'm there with Stocker. Bought a trimmer kit a couple years ago (had to buy another as the head broke during a business trip), but for $20, it lasts a few years. Cost savings in the thousands before too long. I do the bulk of the haircut myself, then my wife trims the back and around my ears.

My dad got the "Flowbee" system years ago (when i was like 12) and has done that since. Between him, my brother, and me, we've done hundreds of haircuts (we keep a tally on the side of the box), saving thousands.
