Hey peeps..

As I said in my 'laterz' thread a while back (man it has been a while..... I needed to take a break from the net and everything I was used to and get my head straight.. Well, I have been getting lots of things straight.
My head, my tib and my status..

I began lots of projects with my tib starting with the body (I had talked of this before I left but it has been in full swing for ages now) and have achieved alot. It goes into paint in 2 weeks and I am still doing bodywork..

I have done this :

Obtained some Escort RS cosworth vents from art and vented them.

Prepped them :

Painted them. (and destroyed a set of tail lenses)



Decided upon holographic flake (this is over black)

And toyed with them over white




Began repairs.

Obtained some rims from a gallant 4cyl (same stud patern and theyre enkeis


Customised the centre caps with mesh

Had the rims sandblasted

And began painting them black and gun metal

Removed the spoiler (eeeyuck)

Got a plate frame from a 60's cady deville, repaired it and prepped it (its done in black but no pics yet)


Met a new woman who lives with me and loves my car.




Finished the hood, painted the inside of the heads black and added black clear corners (thanks art !!)


And the front end (bumper is being painted in a week)


Kspec tails

Custom brakelight (designed by my gf)


Finished 2 rims (soon to be wrapped in Yokas)


And had full hood art designed by my GF. Tib will be holographic pearl and black with lots of dead things graphics. Mainly based on Rob Zombie's Living Dead Girl. Meg made me stencils. Lots of green and blu kandy and solid black graphics.

And that about wraps it up. Oh, and I have never been happier in my life and we are getting engaged in April.

pandy, everything looks great man, i LOVE those taillights are they the lens replacements or the full lights? i like your old rims a lot more man!

Tails : yeah art had them on his but stuck them over the oem tails without removing the oem lenses and they were too dark. so we removed mine in the oven and siliconed them on. I have red bulbs I made using red kandy paint smile.gif they came out literally perfect too...

As time has gone on I have grown to absolutely hate my rims that I have now. They are a total bastard to clean and I have had it. I like the shuriken basicness to the enkeis and they are going to suit the whole theme of the car. I didnt explain that the tails are black, vents, door handles, rear view mirrors and the rims. I also have black fender repeaters from an alfa 146 on way over from the UK. The Enkeis weigh a megre 12 lbs each, so theyre very light too smile.gif

The thing with Meg was like you read in books. She was in a very bad relationship and we became friends and talked for months before realising we were in love. Art and I did the knights in shining armor and went to her old apartment and got her out of there, we have been together for every moment since.

She's been inspiring me and motivating me with the Tib, she loves cars with a passion smile.gif

 

Welcome back to the site mang. I missed you *sniff*. LOL. Great stuff you've been doing. I like alot of it. I expected the cossies to be installed already though. Dude, you might want to search, someone did your speaker/heater vent thing not too long ago. I think it was OptimoPrime. Anyways, welcome back!

i definatly took your vent idea with the 3.5's you should check em out. cant wait to see this crazy cosworth thing u got going on. should be something the new guys should keep an eye on

One question did you shoot paint OUTSIDE NEXT TO OTHER CARS?
