Default autozone!!!

hey did u guys hear that auto zone now gets used salvage yard parts? i saw the commerical yesterday on TV..now i work at Advance auto but damn..looks like i might be shoppin at Autozone in the future haha..does anyone have any more info on this, i think Dweet works at an autozone.??

honestly.. this seems a little weird. Used parts come with NO warrenty, often times the people who remove them from the car do not even know what kind of shape they might be in. The Liability of selling used parts is staggering.

I just spoke to a friend of mine who works at Autozone. This is a nation wide thing, and apparently the parts come from certified salvage yards and come with a one year warranty. He also said that you pay at autozone and the parts get delieverd to your house....i think thats all the info for now..

thats good, a step up from the junkyard. wonder if they have the 1.8l ecu? lol

yea basically, jus saves some time and theres a warranty. As for the ecu my firend said he'll check on that..or mayb if dweet knows he can answer

anybody bought any used parts from them yet?
Do they jack up prices to where it's better to just go to junkyard in the first place? Do they have core charges/refunds?

i heard a commercial on the radio about it yesterday. sounds pretty cool, i'll have to check the prices though. downside is you can't haggle with autozone... tongue.gif:
