Arnold..WHAT HAPPEND!
I don;t see any pics either... but I can relay this. My Grandfather was a miner in the Iron Ore Mines up in Michigan. He had one of the most dangerous jobs in the mines, he worked with the guys planting dynamite to blast... his job was to take the big air jacks they use to break up streets and concrete.. put them on his shoulders.. and drill UP so they could plant the explosives.
Even in his Mid Eighties, he is a BIG man. I am no weakling, but his wrists are as big around as my forearms. For my Grandparents 50th wedding anniversery, we all pitched in and bought him a rolex with the biggest band they had.. he had to take it in and have another inch added to it.

I can see the pics now... Cybershark is right, to keep a body like he had, you have to do several hours a day or working out, being a governor I doubt he has the time to sit at the gym (probably his own private one in the Governor's mansion) and mindlessly work out.

do you lift man? it doesnt quite work like that...you cant go everyday for several hours; it starts to work backwards if you do that. but it does need alot of time in and out of the gym to look like that. you need to lift regularly on a specific scheduale, pay rigurous attention to your diet, get plenty of rest/ sleep...all of which are very difficult when your governor of a state, but he has only been a governor for a short while..

Arnold was a professional body builder, and body builders DO go to the gym several hours A DAY. They might work on uppper body one day, then lower body the next. I think what you were saying is that it's not good to isolate the same muscles everyday because in that case yes you are breaking down your muscles without giving them time to heal. Other than that, everything else you said was right.

yah thats pretty much what i meant but its recomended that you have one day a week of complete rest, oh and i forgot to mention all the supplements you have to take (protein, vitamins, creatine) ..and it doesnt have to be upper/lower switch it just has to be different muscles but i think thats what you meant.

There was a film about Arnold working out. I forgot what it was called but it was documentary on his legendary workout ethic. Boy did he hit the weights. There was a story (I don't remember if it came out on the documentary) that stated that Arnold went to work out at the gym he frequented and it turn out, for some reason, it was closed. Arnold ended up breaking a window to get inside to work out. There were also speculation that he been experimenting with growth hormones. Of course any guy who gets that built will have rumors about that.
