Does anyone ride a motorcycle on here?



I been intrested into ridding for a while now and went to get my temps last friday. Since I have never driven a bike before I be taking 3 day course next week.



I am interested in getting a Suzuki v storm 2012-2014



Just wondering if anyone got any tips?

 

Not currently, but I have since '94. The V-Strom (not "storm", btw) is a good bike to start on. Just gotta be easy on the throttle with v-twins. The torque has a tendency to loft the front tire. Oh, and gear up... don't be "that guy" wearing a salad bowl, jeans, t-shirt and sneakers.

Currently rebuilding a 1987 Honda Hurricane 1000F. Will be my first bike and my learning bike. I plan on meeting the concrete very hard by the end of summer.

 

I had a 600rr for a while, but when my commute became all interstate I sold it. Traffic around here is scary enough in a car.



Now that I'm in the woods with a lot of country roads I want to buy another one and get back into it.

 

Started on a '08 Kawasaki 250R a few years ago.



Bought an '04 ZX-6R a while later - wouldn't recommend to learn on
