Last year I was on my way to the Jersey shore and I saw a blue '03 Tib with a really funky mural of a shark across the whole side. I was just wondering if anyone knows of or has seen this car before. Talk about catching someones eye...wow.

It was on the highway about 25-30 min from the beach. It could have been a tourist as well, but ya never know.

which shore.. it extends from Sandy Hook all the way down to Cape May. I live outside of Atlantic City, never seen a tib that sounds like that.

it it's atlantic city, it's definitely out of town unless you got a look at the license plate. also, it wouldn't be anyone from here with an 03, probably someone from NT.

Well I reside in 2 places here in Jerz..

I live mainly in deptford and spend my weekends at my wife's father's in hammonton and I have never seen it.

Infact I have'nt seen that many tiburons.. not unless I visit my friend who has a 03 and his friend is usually there who has an 01.

Tiburon row lol

it's VERY rare to see an RD1 in south Jersey. Most of what you see are Gks and Rd2s.

As for Hammonton. One of the places I work at is Egg Harbor City... I occasionally drive through hammonton on my way north up 206

I have a friend who lives in Egg Harbor, Liverpool St IIRC (it's a sideroad off of the small main town there..)

206 is possibly the worst road I have ever driven on in all my life during deer season.. when I had my house of kolor taurus I would do 30 down there after midnight (I used to work at blockbuster in hammonton) and it used to scare the life out of me even at 30.

I have never, ever, seen so many deer running accross the street...

You're indeed right about RD1s around here, there arent many, come to think of it about the only other one I have seen in this area is a girl who works with me and hers is a base end crapola model that doesnt even have alloys or anything.

RD1's actually go for alot of money in this area too, I did a search on auto trader recently and there was one 15 miles from hammonton, the cheapest one of them and it was $3000.. bear in mind it was a base end not even any hubcaps and had hit a deer.. it was a complete mess..

With low miles like mine (87k) a RD1 in that area seldom goes for less than $5k if you can find one.. they usually sell for around $6000 with 120+k on them which is in mad contrast to florida where they sell for $2k less.

Gotta say though I do adore south jersey, hammonton is a nice place 'cos my father in law has a huge house right next to the ball field which is right near the lake smile.gif so I do alot of fishing there laugh.gif

btw mad machine I see you emphasise SOUTH on your area thing lol..

Yeah I have been to North Jersey and it was almost as bad as the area in london that I lived.. what do they call it? the armpit or something?

hehe laugh.gif
