What do you think about it? Is the billet better than forged or is there any appreciable difference?

 

Billet will be slightly better than cast, but even cast AR receivers are fine as long as they're milled to proper tolerances.

In general I don't think there's enough difference in the way most receivers perform to make any difference unless it's just a piece of junk.
