Anyone ever file for a patent?
Ive started to come up with some plans for an invention of mine and I want to file for a patent. Has anyone ever done it before? Do you need an attorney or is there a way you can do it yourself to save some money. Speaking of money, how much does it cost and how long did it take before you got your patent? Thanks guys.

Patents are expensive and hard to get and can sometimes take years to get. Heres all the information you will need, The United States Patent and Trademark Office. And yes you will need a patent lawyer.
