I can't wait. I've stopped going to bars because of the smoke, not to mention clubs, bowling alleys, pool halls.

WOOHOO!

Oh, and on another note. Another bill was passed making the Bolo tie the official necktie of NM.

LOL

No smoking inside in all of Chicago, and most of the suburbs followed too. Can't say that about southern Illinois though...

Massachusetts has been smoke free for like 7-10 years smile.gif

only places that can have smoking are private clubs (such as VFW's and American Legion's)

Did they get as anal as Washington State did and ban smoking within 20 feet of an entrance way, window, or ventlation unit?

LOL. It's funny to see all the coworkers step outside, count 20 steps and huddle together in the middle of the street away from the door, walk back to ash their cigarette in the ashtray BY THE DOOR and then walk back to the huddle to puff some more.

Oh and REDZMAN, I think not being a pansy about cigarette smoke should be a prerequisite to entering a bar. Weren't you in nam or something? korea? whatev's. nana.gif

Banned Smoking at Chuck E Cheese, or the bowling alley lanes I can understand. But bars are bars. You go there to eat, smoke and drink.

I'm not sure what the exact wording is for it. Check that link.

I'm not a pansy. I smoked for like 2 years. I don't smoke anymore, and I shouldn't have to smell like an ass because others need to.

Same here. Casinos and private clubs/cigar bars can still smoke.
