hehehe check that out. It's a google add I clicked on. LOL

If you install these things on your muffler you might just add 0-35 hp (depending on road conditions, driver ability, application, and of course the idiot that buys the thing)

QUOTE
Typical range of improvement over baseline is:
0 to 35 increase in horsepower,

0 to 31% increase in fuel economy.

(Actual performance may vary, depending on type of car, driver, and actual driving conditions.)

I like that phrase in red. ^^^

Can anybody explain what that shizzle should teoretically do?

its supposed to swirl the air, causing a better mixture of air to fuel whent he fuel is injected. only problem, it happens way to early in the intake stream. the air still has to go through all those bends and the butterfly valve of the TB, so its pointless.

And that thing in your intake that is a honeycomb thing so you can get the air flow reading, so you sshould loose hp with this right

I like the range they give you for potential HP gains. 0-30. so you could gain anywhere from 0 to 30 HP lol, and that would be, of course, if the thing actually worked. hahaha nice find

That thing has been around for a while, not worth buying.

why don't car designers create spiral generators in key places in the car such as exhaust and intake! i'm talking with a working motor like the radiator fans and your interior fans. everytime you turn the car on, the spirals go on and could be able to go at different speeds depending on intake velocity. infact, why can't intakes have somekind of vaccums to suck in more air and simultaneously create a funnel?

1. something spiraling air in the exhaust stream would just be a restriction.

2. the electrcity needed to spin those fans at the proper speeds would negate any gains.

^^ Correct... besides, why would you want something spinning in your intake? That would just create turbulent air. The engine doesn't need any help sucking in air, it already does a very good job of that by itself.
