It's called google.
Like the description says, it only moves during business hours. Very likely vibration. Place a slab of felt under it and issue resolved. The staff in the case next door that keeps turning into snakes, much harder to justify.

I doubt that it's BS, but it's probably just a unique response to the vibration. Something like the way the base was cut causing any miniscule movement to be unable to rotate the opposite direction vs. the other statues on the glass where any tiny movement would basically cancel out because it could be in any direction.
