Amazon Prime Day - July 12
Just like last year, Amazon will offer deals for 24 hrs to Prime members. Although not necessarily a big hit with customers (see http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/n...ions/86548980/) there were some good deals to be had and Amazon made a ton of money, which, after all, is probably more important to them than how we liked the sale.

Prime Day is a one-day only global shopping event exclusively for Prime members. On Tuesday, July 12, the second annual Prime Day will be the biggest global Amazon event ever. Members in the U.S. can shop starting at midnight PT, with new deals starting as often as every five minutes throughout the day."
There's supposed to be 5 days of pre-sale day sales just to get you ready.
