I enjoy taking pictures, but know next to nothing about photoshop. Here are my pitiful attempts tonight.

10.1MP Canon Rebel XTi
Using the lens it came with, 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6

On the exterior pictures, I was playing with the colors of the house, not the lights or clarity of them.
On the interior pictures, I was more focused on the overall room brightness and presentation of the lights, not the clarity or color of the surrounding objects.

I'm a noob... just having fun and trying to learn. First time using RAW format.

Those look pretty good for your first time.

They look better than my first time... and my attempts now. coolthumb.gif

Playing to learn is the first step in getting really good; keep it up.

lol... in the last pic of the fireplace, I took it at an angle and rotated it slightly so it would look more squared, since I cropped it just to include the fireplace. That's why they look crooked. I didn't notice it til you said something, but the tallest one does look completely messed up.

More lights up today, more pics coming tonight

these were taken tonight and resized. Converted from RAW to JPG. Nothing else done on the computer. Pics look better without any photoshop touches
