The internet is going crazy over the latest black guy dying at the hands of a cop. There's a lot of videos out there of what happened. Usually, I'm on the cops side because something happens that warrants a killing, but this time I think the cop is in the wrong and it was a stone cold murder. He'll probably get off though and there will be mass riots. What do you all think about it?

The guy was resisting the whole time. You could tell by the way he was lifting his head and the pressure they were putting on him. But, unless the guy had a gun, it was murder.
Looks like there was another cop on black shooting this morning, and it was filmed on Facebook Live

I saw the video. Alton did have a gun, but never reached for it. He told the officers he had a gun. Yes, it looks like he was resisting and they had already tased him. The officer drawing his weapon was justified. However, watching the video, it appears it was an accidental discharge. This makes it manslaughter or negligent homicide, not murder. Murder requires intent.

^ Definitely, he was struggling the entire time, halfway through the video it sounds like officers say he's got a gun. At that time the officer pulls his gun, the guy keeps struggling and you hear the gunshots. No idea if he was reaching for it, he was struggling and armed so maybe they thought he was going for it? There's not a whole lot to go by other than the somewhat blurry video.
I understand these situations are sad for the families of the "Victims" But their's a fairly simple solution is most of them (there will be exceptions.) But if people would stop struggling and just do what the officers are asking you to do you wouldn't have as many of these situations. I personally think people blow these situations out of proportion, but is anybody saying anything about the 60 people shot in Chicago on July 4th Weekend? Nope...

I wish people would force Obama back to Chicago at the end of his term to fix the city he neglected. And do it for free!
