Yeah, stuff like this has been around for a while. It is pretty crazy. Sort of cool in some ways.

Airsoft lets me practice shooting at home. I have a couple of rifles, but only really shoot the pistols. A reasonably accurate airsoft rifle generally costs as much as a real rifle, but even some sub $30 airsoft pistols are accurate enough to practice with reasonably.

 

my youngest son is into airsoft guns.

he showed me a 4 grand mini rail gun capoable of shooting 4,000 RPM.

 

Those aren't crazy. This is crazy... I almost bought one a couple of years ago:
