Some of you know, I used to have a '15 Nissan Leaf. I traded it in for a new F150 because I really needed a truck. Well, I really miss having an electric car. I'm not exactly a greenie, but I do love gadgets and well, and electric car is like the ultimate gadget. I had been thinking about getting another Leaf, but the 40 Kwh battery in the current model doesn't offer enough range for me. They're supposed to be coming out with a 60 Kwh model soon, so I figured that would be my next car. Well... I just started reading about the new Hyundai Kona Electric that's coming out and I like it. It's got more room than the Leaf, and IMO, looks better. I also considered a Model 3, but although I could afford $55k for the one I want, I don't really want to spend that much on an electric. That's 2014 GT500 money (with mods ).

So, I'm now on the waiting list for Kona Electic. Hopefully they'll start shipping before Spring.
