I am planning on purchasing a 2007 Tiburon as soon as they are available. Initially I was planning on keeping my 99, but as the time get's closer I feel it would be best to trade it in or sell it. I have a few mods waiting to be installed and I am trying to decide if I should do it, or sell them. Below is the list of things I have waiting.
Airram Intake Manifold - Bored to 70mm by Redzman.
Phenolic Intake Manifold Spacer
60mm Oz-Flow Throttle Body - Needs minor repair.
AEM UEGO - Will probably save for 2007
Splitfire Oil Temp Gauge - Will probably save for 2007
Splitfire Oil Press Gauge - Will probably save for 2007
Steel-Braided Brake Lines - Not sure if they are safe.
I have the following items that can be easily removed for parting out.
AEM CAI
KSPEC Front and Rear Strut Bars
Apexi SAFC II
Apexi N1 Catback Exhaust - Not that easy... wink1.gif
What is your input on this? It is only about a year and a couple of months before the new ones are available. We all know the value of a modded car is no higher than an unmodded one if you are trading it in.

Give them all to me. fing02.gif
No, seriously. sad.gif
I would pay off your Tib if you haven't. Then buy the new one and have both. It's not like you'll be getting much for the 99 anyways.
I want to have both. cool.gif

I say keep it, and not because it's an RD, but because you know the car and it's nice to have a paid off car sitting there. Turn it into a trailor queen or give it to one of the kids.

If I keep it that would mean I would have three car payments for at least two years. Most of my debts will be paid off Nov 2006, but I would rather not have three car payments. As far as saving it for one of my kids, my oldest doesn't turn 16 until 2012!

How would you have a car payment after next year?
Do you have more than $3k left?? You should easily be able to pay off $3k by that time, and if not, there's no way that selling the car would pay that amount off cause it sn't worth it.
I would work on paying it off first. Having no car payments = teh win!

^^LOL, no one said anything about giving parts away.
Guys, I understand the loyalty and all but I really do not see owning three vehicles. You need to understand it from my perspective. I have three kids and a wife, as it is now we do not all fit in the Tib. So having two vehicles that don't fit all of us seems to be a waste, especially since vehicles do not go appreciate in value.
