Default adopting a family for christmas!

We here in Ga are going to adopt a family for christmas in the name of Team sr. My mother is very active in church and we adopted a family from the church to sponsor for this giving season!
It's not that bad we buy food and gifts for the two children!

I am doing this because we as a group dump alot of money into our cars and probably don't even think about the rest of the people in this world! It is a time for us as a TEAM to do something to show that we just aren't another punk ass group of street racers causing problems that we are respectable and that we care!

If anyone would like to help out with this thats not in Ga. Please send gift cert. to me at
Bryan Smith 1014 maple leaf ridge
Jonesboro GA 30238
By the end of this week sorry for the short notice but just wanted to let everyone know what we were doing!

You can get certif at any Kroger,Target, Or Walmart Come on guys Whats 10 to 20 dollars not much to give up for a needy family!

Hope everyone can help have a merry
christmas!! Later Accent 1
Team sr. GA

What a great idea! I always try to help those less fortunate, especially around the holidays. Makes ya feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

This is a good idea.

Also...we could also find some needy Team SR member and all contribute a buck, and the guy could have close to a hundred if not more to buy stuff.

Ahh yes! My sister adopted a family for Christmas here in GA as well.
They didn't even have a Christmas tree < sad.gif

We're giving them one of our old artificial trees, getting decorations and getting gifts for all the kids (4). Remote control cars for the boys, some clothes, etc.

They moved down here to GA (very) recently, trying to get away from a highly abusive situation with a man (abusing kids and her). They came down here to GA with little more than the clothes on their backs (really). Their mother is currently working for the city (county?) at a job paying only $9/hour.

We don't have a huge amount of cash that we can spend on them, but we're doing to do the best we can to help them have a happy Christmas.

All I can say is !

This is a very good idea to help the needy in your area. If many people here are interested, why don't we all create a PayPal account and we donate there.

It's just an idea.
