Since I recently put together the computer at home, I've been getting a small popup box in media pages like this: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/us...ivexupdate.mspx
(the bottom message box "click to activate an ActiveX....")
However, my computer at work is up to date but doesn't have this stupid box. Is this the latest update that I have to live with? I can't find a control option anywhere that will allow me to automatically load media pages. Do you get the same box when loading media filled pages?

go to start>control panel>internet options>Security tab>custom level button>

then either reset to medium or turn off activex prompting.

Damn!!!! It's doing it again and the automatic prompting is disabled. I'm gonna go nuts!
The box pops up every time the page changes or refreshes. It's only on RDT too. What is it trying to load?

I cleared the cache but nothing changed. Then ran spysweeper. nothing.
Then changed the security to high and turned off all activex controls and it worked.
I dont know if its gonna give me problems when i need to actually view activex stuff, but we'll see.
