The Mustang was originally a womans car, designed for a woman to buy her groceries (hence the flat trunk). It's also evident in "Goldfinger." It was later adapted by males.

I like the commercial where the mustang is changing paint jobs as different people look at it as it drives down the street. Little girl in ballet outfit and the car turns pink and changes to black . . . for her. LOL
