I should note that vie video in which you are refering to is old. that was with his last engine. it was a stock internaled B16A2 (same DOHC VTEC engine in the 99/00 Si[R])pushing "only" 400 WHP, and the viper had TNT headers and cat back + extrude honed intake runners. and no, his engine didnt blow up, he just wanted more power wink.gif
the 480hp is at 24 psi for the civic, the 490hp is at 18 psi for the cavalier...if the cavalier increased its boost to 24 psi...the GRD sunfire was running the same turbo as the cavalier, and it made 600hp around 25 or 26 lbs i think

of course you could increase the PSI, but would the engine handle it, and if it can at what cost is the question. im 99% sure the j-body is driven no where near as much as jasons... ie 100+mi a day for school/work + races. Also, hes not done tuning it, when hes finished on the dyno we should be seeing almost 600 WHP and over 28PSI. besides run what you brung, dont make excesuses
well, considering its a turbo built engine with forged internals, lowered compression, head work, etc etc, i promise you it could handle it. and if he really drives 100+ miles a DAY at 24 psi, thats just retarded...you sure he doesn't turn the boost down just driving to work?
