Doctors from London University have revealed details of what they believe is the largest amount of ecstasy ever consumed by a single person. Consultants from the addiction centre at St George's Medical School, London, have published a case report of a British man estimated to have taken around 40,000 pills of MDMA, the active ingredient in ecstasy, over nine years. The heaviest previous lifetime intake on record is 2,000 pills.
Though the man, who is now 37, stopped taking the drug seven years ago, he still suffers from severe physical and mental health side-effects, including extreme memory problems, paranoia, hallucinations and depression. He also suffers from painful muscle rigidity around his neck and jaw which often prevents him from opening his mouth. The doctors believe many of these symptoms may be permanent.
The man, known as Mr A in the report in the scientific journal Psychosomatics, started using ecstasy at 21. For the first two years his use was an average of five pills per weekend. Gradually this escalated until he was taking around three and a half pills a day. At the peak, the man was taking an estimated 25 pills every day for four years. After several severe collapses at parties, Mr A decided to stop taking ecstasy. For several months, he still felt he was under the influence of the drug, despite being bedridden.

The standard rate for a pill is between 15 and 20 each...unless he had a hookup. Which in that case, the pills could be anywhere from 7-12 each. Thats alot of freaking money to be spending on them. However, he also could have access to Molly (pure MDMA powder) and a pill crusher, in order to form his own pills. But still....damn....thats just freaking insane the amount he took. eek5.gif

40,000 in 7 years. omg, id be a e-tart. and the 25 a day is just..unthinkable.
from the background and searching of the side effects of mdma (E), its not the actual mdma (E) that kills you. its the added drugs (ketamine (special K), cocaine, meth, dxm (cold remedy ingrediabt that will kill you if injesting quanities), pba (which will also kill you in quanities). also while taking E, it blocks the body from telling the mind that it needs to "use the restroom", thus causing fluid to back up into your body and travel up the spinal cord and into the bottom of the brain stem. crazy ish tho.

and dam visionz, where the hell do you live, 15-20 bucks a pop? lol like 5 bucks up here in canada, 10 bucks if its real good and clean, 20 if there pure "usually aint"

He had to have had a hookup or made it himself. No way he took that many and didn't die. It had to have been different from the street stuff. Street and/or cheap ex is always laced with something from what i hear. Thats what kills you just like what 2loud2k2xd said.

not usually laced, usually just cut with less mdma in it and more filler, just like some people think that double and triple stacked have 2 or 3 times the mdma in them when in fact they have barley anymore mdma in there and just more filler like meth and shit
the cheaper shit makes you feel like shit, youll feel like you cant sleep or eat well the next day... litterly like shit... good stuff, your perfectly fine the next day
