Default Is 4% a good return rate for 401K?

I contribute 7% of my paycheck to my 401K ad my job does a 100% match. I just got my statement and I got a 4% return rate. I invest in conservative trading but I'm thinking about changing it to more risky. If 4% is good or even great, I'll just leave it alone. I get a raise in October and when that kicks in, I'll boost my contribution to 10%.

I had a 16% rate of return (just logged in and checked) but I also invest in very aggressive trading.

Jesus! I only average around 8-10%. How do you get such a high ROI?
