I was initially wanting to get a Marlin 336 in 30-30 but now Im considering one in .357 or .44. That way if I reload I can also get a revolver and just have one caliber for both guns. What are some models of lever guns in these cailbers?
Marlin 1894 is one but they're several hundred I think. Im looking for one with separate butt stock and upper hand guard. Not a one piece stock.

IMHO buying a rifle to shoot pistol ammo is kind of a waste ever fire a 9mm m16? its just annoying

my next gun is PROBABLY gonna be a 1895GS

mmmm .45-70 loveliness you never know when your gonna get attacked by a heard of buffalo
nice thing about the 1895 is that it breaks down into 2 pieces and can fit into a backpack...

I hate lever guns with a passion.
Nothing wrong with pistol caliber carbines. I might even consider a lever action if anyone makes an affordable .500S&W model. I am hoping for an auto or a pump though.
