Got the Calendar in the mail today. As for feedback, I noticed the quality for sure, but you get what you paid for.

Great job everyone involved in the effort to get us the calendars, thanks again!

Phorq helped us a great deal on these calendars. He read the replies in this forum and sent me an e-mail with explanation. Because he backed us up and worked so hard to get us the final product, I felt it was good to share part of his email with the community, to show the work he did behind the scenes:

Phorq's e-mail to me:
"As far as the distorted edges that SOCKS is talking about, yes, I did try and make some bleed to go off the edges with intent on most of it getting cut off. The distortion was supposed to be cut off entirely. But then I got a call from the vendor saying that the calendar that we chose only had one picture for the whole calendar, and we'd have to upgrade to a calendar that was over double the cost to get a 12 month / 12 picture calendar. We told him "no", your listing is misleading, payment from the customer has been made, yadda yadda, and he ended up charging us only $100 more (rather than over double) to get them made up. Unfortunately, this calendar didn't have full bleed, though, it did add the RDT logo on each page. So THAT's why there wasn't full bleed. And of course, the vendor called to tell me all of this 3 days before the calendars were due to you, so I made a snap decision."

Thanks, Phorq, for all the phorqing hassle this vendor put you through. Thanks for supporting the site and this order, and tell that vendor to go screw himself! fukyou.gif

Hey, got mine yesterday. These look great. I'd definitely pay a bit more for glossy and thicker paper. In all honesty though, where its hanging in my office, it wouldn't make much of a difference.

Thanks Phorq for all the hassle, and to Socks and Missy for their work putting it all together. All I did was send Socks a PSD of my layout, then I guess they decided to just use my layout as a template. Its nice that all of the pages are consistent, and I love the RDT logo on each page.

All calendars have been shipped.
Money was received for every calendar ordered, except for Alli, who has been MIA since getting hitched.

Since it's the end of January, I hope everybody has received their calendars. If you HAVEN'T, please let me know. Our Dutch, Croatian, and Canadian members have received theirs.

Pascoile - I shipped your second calendar at the beginning of this week. Let me know if it doesn't come soon.
