story says they were clocked at 145 on the highway, then spotted the cop, then tried to use excessive speed on the exit where they landed into the pumps. that's a relatively expensive Hooters breakfast!



totally stupid inexperienced youths jam-packed with testosterone. obviously stupid to be doing 145, especially with passengers. at that point, it's not funny anymore and i would yell at the driver and stop the friendship immediately.



next, i have to admit that if i was speeding above the limit and saw a speed gun being pointed at me, my instinct would be to pull off at the nearest exit and do a little figure-8 or maybe hide out in a back parking lot somewhere until things tamed down... naturally that's what the best option is because i have been in situations where i was honest and have had to pay a huge fine for accepting the 11 miles over. however, these guys were idiots.

Probably saw the Evo doing 145 as he flew by the Neon. No way in the world that thing did 140 unless it was on some serious steroids.
