Common sense would tell you that the poor horse wouldn't be able to pull the body... even without the wheels, axle, etc. it probably weighs at least 2,700 pounds. That would be one kickass horse.

You would actually be surprised at how light the body of a car can be, especially without the drivetrain bolted in. Once you rip out all the electronics and the power stuff.. the body of the car is only a fraction of the overall weight.
