Venom IM for 2.0 Beta
Does anyone know where I can get one of these for my 01 Tib?
I know they exist. I don't really like the idea of having my stock IM bored out. I would rather get a replacement one that wil reach at least 61mm to match the throttle.

Nah, that's the throttle body. The intake manifold inlet port is about the same from the factory(56mm), but can be bored out past 63mm, someone said up to 70mm I think but I don't know how much would be left around the edges.

Are you sure?
I believe I was told from Onpol that they could only do 58mm at most.
Interesting, though I remember hearing that someone had a 60mm one in their tib that was the stock just bored outward.
Oh well, I want chrome!

The stock TB can only be bored out to 58mm. Unless you reinforce the backside of it with JB weld or some similar epoxy type substance.
The SR "stock" 58mm throttle body can be bored out over 60mm. The "barney" TB could also be bored out to over 60mm.
Keep in mind, the IM needs to be bored out to match, and there is such a thing as TOO BIG. A 85mm throttle body would flow great amounts of air...but it would move very slowly due to the small volume of air our engines require. It would also be very hard to modulate the throttle, as from say, half throttle to Full throtlle would make no difference as the engine's demand for air would be met by just half or 3/4 throttle.

I had no intention of boring the throttle either. Wasn't the Barney BBTB adjustable up to 61 anyway to match the intake manifold set with a bore of 61mm that I am looking for from venom?
Thanks for verifying the facts about the IM.
