Hello everyone
I was thinking of rebuilding my 2.0 beta 1 on my 98 tib, but of course as I found out that will be a lot of money. So i decided to jst put a baby shot of NOS on my beta, and btw my beta has 161k, am curious is a 25 shot of NOS safe enough to use on my tiburon?

just to let you know, more then likely you are not going to a a reponse because of the term NOS...cause NOS is a company...the correct term is N2O...
also a 25 shot of N2O is pretty much a waste of time, plus before i would do nitrious on a 161K engine i will replace it with a lower mileage one for about 300-400 if that
IMO

If he wants to put the brand NOS in his car than his statement is still valid and shouldn't be ignored because he wants to use a crappy brand of nitrous nana.gif

25 shot, as stated, would be pointless. specially on a motor with 161k...
do a compression check before you do any 'major' mods
d, nitrous is nitrous. they may just make a 'crappy' controller or w/e, but all it is is a tank, nitrous, lines, and a controller. not much to a nitrous system.
you would probably gain as much power by swapping to a low mileage beta II as you would doing a 25 shot of nitrous.. itll probably cost the same also.

my odometer says 175,XXX miles and i run a 100 shot = )
Upgraded fuel pump
And Msd Dis 2 ignition
Never had a single problem. But hehe the motor only has 30,000 miles on it =D
So all in all i would not run nitrous on a car with that high miles

its not really a waste putting a 25 shot of nitrous, i mean one of my friends has a infinity fx35 with all the bolt on's hitting mid 15 at the 1/4, he put 20 shot of nitrous and got 14.7 as hies best 1/4 time. but you guys have a great point why nitrous a 161k engine, am a try and fine me a beta 1 with low millage that i can drop it in and then nitrous it.
