? on proper fuel pressure

Ok, I have a 55 shots on tap and would like to buy a B&M fuel pressure modifier. What would be the proper fuel pressure set up for a 65 shots. It is adustable from 25 psi to 65psi. Random and Red, your 2 cents pls.

I do believe you need a CONSTANT 44 psi

is that stock? I was thinking whether the the B&M regulator adjust itself on demand. or do I have to dial it in.

when ever you want to use your nitrous it has to be a constant 44psi...get a warblo 255 fuel pump(cheap off ebay, maybe ill sell ya mine if the price is right) and get a fuel reg and get a plate fabricated for it so it fits... then just trun it up when you plan to juice it

by the way...thats a sweet tib u got there

thanks. I've always thought that the regulators work on vacuum pressure. why do I have to dial it in. I can't just get out of the car and adjust it when I want to use the gas.

thats what im saying due...i do belive there should just be a screw on it you can trurn to adjust the presure...only probolem with tibs is there is no fuel presure test port...

arn you have a ZEX kit... that kit changes your fuel pressure accordinly to the nozzle you have

The stock pump cant take that much, so 65 is your absolute limit

With a ZEX kit you dont need to play with pressure,... the kit does it for you

The only thing you can do is upgrade fuel pump

You can get a cheap 20-50 dollar eclipse turbo pump or you can get the walbro pump

Either one will give you enough for a 75 shot, which is the limit of yor ZEX nozzles

jaws, 65 shots is still ok for the fuel pump. nothing bigger. if I change the pump, what year of mitsu eclipse turbo pump should I ask for? too lazy to do the search. sorry. https://tsr182.tripod.com/cgi-bin/Ca...ndspeakers.jpg

and thanks for all the info, Jaws.

also, is it hard to change the pump? any wire cutting if I use either pumps?

the fuel pump is very easy to change...its under your back seat...just remove a few screws pull the pump out disconnect 1 hose 1 set of wires put the new pump in a reinsert hose and wire and ur good to go
