for timing retardation it is highly recommended to go with the MSD DIS 2 ignition system. it can retard and has an adjustable revlimiter to set below your factory one because.... all you need is to do it once- hit the factory rev limiter and the ECU will limit fuel going at your injectors to limit RPM's and congradulations, you have just run your engine -lean- and probibly turned it in to a paper weight eek! never overlook what good safegaurds can do..."an ounce of prevention is equal..."
