Default NOS on a truck?

Does nitrus work well on trucks? If i was to get an s10 or a dodge dakota with a v6 hrmm 2.5 liters they are maybe 3.0 not for sure. Would a ZEX system work well for that? what would i need to put on it to make it "safe"? thanks!

You wont have any problems with the nos kit install on your truck. This what I would do to make it safe. Put one switch to activate the system, put a button on the throttle cable so when it is at full throttle in will shoot the nos into the intake. Then put a second switch just to shoot the nos on the inside so that way your not shooting nos everytime you put the pedal to the floor. But if you don't want that just do the first two steps. Also start off small then increase your shot after you get used to it. But I probably wouldn't go over a 65-70 shot.

Biggest problem with Nitrous on trucks is the large motors. They gulp through lots of nitrous compared to a small motor like the tiburon. You need a pretty big bottle to feed a dodge V-10, unless you want to re-fill it after each run.

You can supercharge/turbocharge/add Nitrous to any motor. The priciple is the same, just the application is different. However...most trucks are built for hauling power and not speed. (FORD SVT Lighting, GMC Typhoon, and a few others are the exception) Becuase they are built for power, it is the gear ratios that slow you down/limit speed rather than the motor. That and their usual heavy weight.

In the bed, or even behind the seat.
