Default Is it normal?!?

Hey guys I have little concern that my car is not running as it should be... So here is the story, early this year when it was still cold I tested the tibby with the NX wet system on very low pressure ( around 750 psi) and a friend in the car. The result was 80-140km/h for around 7 sec. These days I tested it again 900psi, only me in the car, semi slicks, but very hot weather ~90F/34C and I was shocked 80-140 around 10sec ?!?! WTF!!! I was with brand new CAI, but the fan was blowing hot air directly in it. Tiburon_99 gave me advice to move the CAI and the very next day I did it here is a pic of it

I changed the whole intake tube from the TB, cause there was little holes in it. Do u guys think it is only because of the hot weather and that the CAI was breathing very hot air?

There is one more thing...I have iphone 4 and I'm using dynolicious, sooo I tested a few cars with it and I'm pretty sure it's accurate! The first car was BMW 2.5 TDS dyno tested 149rwhp - dynolicious 142rwhp. Second car was Seat Leon 2.0TDI 140hp stock - dynolicious 124whp. Pretty accurate if u ask me. The bad news tested my tib with 50 wet shot - 102-111whp again WTF !!! Without the nitrous 91 whp ?!? I don't know what to think ! My exhaust pipe is stock 55mm. but no cat and it's sraight pipe with muffler. I'll test it again in not so hot weather and hopefully it will run better. Also my plugs are bkr5e and I'll chage'em tomorrow with bkr7e.

If u have any idea please share it, cause I'm not impressed with these "50 shot"

Thank u in advance and sorry for my english...

When it was 110ºF outside, my car reported 151º intake air temperature. The car runs weakly in this sort of weather. This is normal.

For grins I went and found a calculator online here: http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_hp_dp.htm

I put in numbers until I got 100% for a reference:

0 feet

80ºF air temperature

30"Hg altimeter

68ºF dew point

Then I threw in some random numbers to illustrate the theory and came out with 7% less power:

0 feet

150ºF air temperature

30"Hg altimeter

68ºF dew point (extremely dry!)

Changing the dew point to 120º takes it down to -27% relative horsepower.

You lose power with hot air. Try the testing again with the new intake location before even beginning to worry.

Thanx Stocker U and Turboron_99 are always helping me a lot !!! I'll do the test very soon and will share the results I was thinking something else...I bought the bottle second hand and it was 90% full. Before the last test it was 10 kg. ( the bottle is 6.3kg ) so 3.7kg nitrous, but after 6-7 runs ( i spray in second gear around 70km/h to 140-150km/h)the bottle was still around 10kg( 9.xx )?!? I'm with 50 shot 35N/20F and it was on 900psi. Is it possible that the bottle is not filled right? More gas than liquid?

Thank you again guys and I'm really happy that there are still people like u :beercheers

The gas bottles I've dealt with (1.5 meters, not 50cm! ) are like 2-3cm thick. Most of the weight of a small bottle is the bottle.
