NO2 Plugs & Injectors/fuel pump

Every one I have talked to at the NO2 shops said do not go with direct port. Why would they tell me that if it's safer.
I can't say why they would outright lie, but they did. On a smaller shot OR on a car that runs a TBI/TPI manifold and fuel system, a single fogger is perfectly fine. But on a car that runs an MPFI manifold or a larger shot (percentage of total engine power speaking), direct port is the only way to go.Don't talk to the retards at the local shops, call up Nitrous Oxide Systems or call up NX directly. Talk to their Tech Support line... I know I have.
Can you run an 80-shot single fogger wet system? Sure. Is it as safe and reliable as you're being led to believe? No.
I'm simply here to warn you; it's your choice whether you belive me or not. I would think I've been in this game long enough (and you would KNOW this) for someone to believe me, but...

OK I talked to Mrs. Stewart today and she says there is no need to go with direct port on the NX system. The fuel nozzles that are with the NX kit atomize the fuel enough not to worry about Manifold backfire. Even with a 150 shot wet system. when you are talking about a dry system or the NOS wet system which isnt avail anymore as far as I know, yes you would have to worry about it. The NOS fuel nozzles don't atomize the fuel. all it does is shoot a stream of fuel. the NX ones work similar to an actual injector. This is why you don't have to worry about the backfire, nor do you need to retard timing with the NX kit. She also said the kit will also sound something similar to a turbo when on spray. the engine will quiet down and there will be no extra fuel sent through the exhaust system meaning no possible flame or fujmes from N2O able to smell like other kits. smile.gif so If you can't hear the car you wont smell it either. So the kit is a true sleeper if the other person isn't able to hear your car.
For those who don't know Mrs. Stewart if the wife of the former NX owner/inventor. And now heads up www.nitrouswarehouse.com. If I believe anyone it would be here on the direct port. If this were any other kit than the NX kit then yes Direct port would be needed.
