how big of a shot will be ok on stock internals? the only mods i have are CAI and cat-back exhaust. also my car is an auto. i want to do the tranny swap but i can not find all the parts for it. so for now i just want some nitrous to provide a little more acceleration, then i will get swap when i can find it. thanks and sorry if this has been covered way too many times.

alright

biggest shot you can run on stock internals is the same amount of HP you can run with a turbo lol

you COULD run a 100 shot but some things would need to be done

it would have to be a direct port nitrous shot

youll need a bigger fuel pump(a 190 might work) and some colder plugs (among recommended accessories for the nitrous like a bottle warmer and stuff like that)

but you have a auto trans so that might cause the trans to blow up

if i were you i would run a 50 shot and get a gst fuel pump they cost like 50 bux(or less on ebay) and run one step colder plugs (which i can provide for 5.50 plus shipping) to be safe

GET A WET KIT

no ands ifs or buts

wet kit

and no zex cus it sucks get a NX kit

ya i say just do a 50 shot with a fuel pump change colder plugs. 75 might be ok but its pushing it. i think 100 is too much on stock internals. just my 2 cents lol. how many miles on your motor btw? and as faith said. auto or standard?

ok i just did a search and i did not find anything on what i am looking for. so here is my question. i am looking to get a nitrous system 75-100 shot preferably but that might be to much on stock internals. so my question is this. what would need to be done to make a nitrous system safe on my car. my car is an automatic by the way. so please tell me what (if anything) i would need with a 50 shot, 75 shot, or 100 shot. i would just like to know that way i can get an estimate on how much this is going to cost me. thanks for your help i appreciate it.

also all i will need for this to work is the kit, fuel pump, and colder plugs? thanks and sorry for starting a new thread, my bad. and would the 75 shot be safe with the auto tranny?

also would the walbro 255lph fuel pump in the for sale section be good if i need a fuel pump upgrade?

ive sprayed an 80 shot and 8 bottles down on my xd. and i fully support the zex kit. by far the best. ive never, never had any probs with it. 190lph fuel pump, trans cooler and 1* colder plugs and the car runs perfectly...so far.
