Pricewise nitrous will be about $450 and @stock you can run a 55 shot w/ a 10LB tank that will last a total 3 mins.

Turbo will run ya about 3k installed, and get you 60+ hp with no bottle to refill

Long term turbo would probably be the way to go, but if you are looking for a "quick fix" i'd have to suggest Nitrous (out of the 2 options).

im curious too... i would think that if anything there would be more turbo lag

the thing with a turbo... you will need your tranny reworked by level 10... or get a tranny cooler

Autos dont hold that much power...

I depends how serious you are
if you just want power every now and then... just get nitrous and some NA performance mods

If you want somewhere around 250whp... then get the turbo
If your looking for 180whp-200whp... then get a nitrous system
why waste 3k-5k dollars when you can get the same output for like 1k

I agree with JAWS...I believe its the VCN 1000 Venom kit you use right? I'm trying to get ahold of Venom Performance to see if i can get a kit for my beautiful little 01 tibby...and that with the TQ thats being upgraded by LevelTen for me TODAY and should be sent back to me 2-3days from now...*thats how long itll take them to send it back, now how long til it gets here*...and a Barney BBTB (havent port/matched the IM yet)..WAI (Yeh not CAI, stupid Weapon Rice i have to remede, that I got when i first started modding, hehe)...and a little lightened weight (rear seats, spare tire) I'm guessing 15.5-16.3 1/4 Time? Probably better then 16.3, the TQ itself should improve .5-1.0 off my 1/4 but ill tell ya how it goes. I might not get any headers, due to the whole Emissions part...

You guys do realize that replacing the TQ will help in performance, but by no means will helps the autotranny survive more power.

Alos with the neq TQ your gas mileage is gonan get a tad worse, not much, just something to keep in mind.

If you wanna bullet proof your tranny. Get the full valvejob done at LevelTen for about $3500.

Tranny coolers, wont help you make more power they jsut help the tranny last longer with what it has. And the Auto Trannys for the BETA engine are after thoughts and do not work well at all.

I was just at the dealer and they told me they now reccomend Autotrannys have their fluid changed every 20k to try and help them live longer.

Are auto tranny heats very quickly and end sup burning the fluid. That the main cause of failure.

I would invest in a very big tranny cooler. And buy a spare auto tranny. just encase.

Now, the new shifttronic autos, for the new tiburon might be better. I dont know.
