I was having this argument last night with a couple of honda fan boys. They think nitrous is in the same category as a turbo and supercharger. I on the other hand disagree and consider it just an added NA component. What do you guys think?

i.m.o its a very cheap way to add power but its not constant due to the amount of nitrous you will have in your tank.

turbo and superchargers are in a totally differnt category then nos

nitrous is like steroids

turbo is just man power

I would only consider supercharged or turbocharged 'BOOSTED'

I would consider nitrous cars 'JUICED'

I wouldn't really consider someone racing or driving with the use of nitrous N/A though.. very unfair comparison..

I see in magazines (usually Honda) claiming these awesome NA builds but they are using n02 to make them go fast. So I think some people call them NA so they can feel better about using nitrous.

Technically it's NA because it doesn't change the way the car breathes, just adds to the mixture.

Can you compare a true NA tuned motor to nawzed rocket, not in the slightest

BOOST is for Big Boyz!!!

N/A is N/A.. Not Nitrous, Yet, Nitrous I dont se F/I like a turbo, or supercharger. Mainly when i talk to people, the thing around here, is people dont say there cars are N/A, if there running nitours, they usually disribe there cars as boosted.... But the poeple around here claiming, are mostly the Honda Fan Boiz! Go Fig....

Imo, a N.A car can have a controllable ecu, weight reduction, sport tuned suspension and race tires, running on race gas with nos,....but it is still naturally aspirated.

N02 is still N/A. Nothing is being forced into the motor its being sprayed, if you consider spraying nitrous into a motor as boost then couldnt we argue that meth/water injection is the same 'boost'?

Only TC/SC is truly a boosted setup.
