Default Bad Zex experiences

I recently purchased a zex nitrous system and I was wanting to know how many people have had bad experiences with this. I bought colder zex plugs have full exhaust and cai. What kind of things do I need to watch for? Are there any common problems anyone is having? Nitrous is a serious performance enhancer and I don't want to mess it up. I have done a lot of research on it but I just want to know if anyone has suggestions. I have a eclipse fuel pump too.

dont hit the button until >3500 RPM dont spray for more than 30 seconds @ a time, and dont spray all the time, just do that and ull be fine, oh and when u know u will be using the bottle fill up on some premium gas as well, just as insurance against detonation

I'm running the zex kit in my tib and had only one problem with it that could have caused a major problem. When you rework the vaccuum lines going to the fuel pressure regulator make sure all the clamps are tight and give them a good pull to make sure they do not pull off from both the regulator or the zex unit itself. I had one blow off and it caused my motor to run very lean on the spray but I noticed the problem as soon as it happend and let off the gas. If I didn't notice them I can say good bye to my pistons.
Other than that one time I have never had a problem and it works great. And as said before to not use it more than 15-20sec per run, as far as the rpm don't worry about it the zex is automatic and hooks up to the throttle position sensor and by the time it kicks in your over 2000 rpm wich is safe. Use it, love it and enjoy it.

With the vacuum lines when you disconnect the hose from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator, is that the connection that you use for the zex kit? One hose goes to the manifold and the other to the fuel pressure regulator. You don't need to tap into any lines correct.

Yes those are the lines used for the zex kit and no you really don't tapp into them. What you do is remove the factory hose running from the intake to the regulator then the zex kit comes with differant lines. One line goes from the intake to the zex unit and the other goes from the zex unit to the regulator. By doing this it gives the zex unit the abillity to control your fuel ratio while using the nitrous but when not un use it works normally.

DO NOT SPRAY OVER 115 or 120 MPH.

If you run up against the speed limiter, and keep spraying...bad things can happen.

MAN, I shattered a piston but zex is still awesome and I am still going to use it, just need stronger internals.
