Yes. You should bounce between RICH and LEAN durring normal driving, and durring WOT you should peg rich. If you are never hitting rich, I would guess that your A/F meter is not hooked up right, or your o2 sensor has a problem.

i got 2k miles on my zex plugs,... no problem, they work fine

If you dont want zex plugs get NGK v power plugs that are 2 degrees colder
