The Diamond Plate Mats
#1
as stated in the description. do you actually cut these out of sheets of diamond plate, or just distribute them?
the reason i ask, is if you custom cut them, would you be able to get black diamond plate, and maybe for a lil more $$ make a set of those?
i would really like these, but i hate shiny chromy styled stuff, but love the look of black diamond plate.

Hey,
We actually distribute them. However, we can powdercoat them black before we ship them to you if you would like. We will have our Custom Powdercoating setup in about 2 weeks. Then we can powdercoat anything, any color. For the floormats we could do a high gloss black, black chrome, semi-gloss black, flat black. Let me know.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hey,
Probably $20 for the front and an additional $5 for the rear. We can also do candy colors like blue, red, green, you name it. And it would look killer over the polished diamond plate.
Thanks,
Kevin

How durable is powder coating on a thin piece of aluminum? Will it crack if you bend it or step on it too hard? Also, can the shiney black be buffed if you scratch it?

Hey,
The powdercoat is very tough and durable. You can bend the aluminum without cracking the powdercoat. The coating is chemical, chip, and scratch resistant ( to a point ). You cannot buff the powdercoat if there is a scratch, but, unless you are grinding rocks with your feet into the mats, they will remain in good condition.
Thanks,
Kevin
