Bill and I are gonna try getting this installed on mine with the 440's and 3 bar map. If all goes well, I'll have it immediately dynoed. Then swap out the stock block for the built one and boost away!

Just bumping this for no reason really. Bill, you should start a new thread with all the sale info and everything. Ive been meaning to catch you on AIM also so I can talk to you on a couple of things. Looking forward to receiving mine soon so I can give some feedback.

If this turns out alright with boost, then I think we should definately make this a "recommended" ECU for turbo setups. Maybe put a sticky in the FI forum with a link back to this.

I'll get some videos of my car starting/running/spooling once installed.

Not sure why it wouldnt turn out OK since I know a couple people running this with boost. Shouldnt be any different in our case.

I know this runs under boost. I'm talking about it being as easy as advertised. Plug n play..... If it turns out to be extremely easy, then it's definately something for everyone.

Any chance of getting this done to work for the LC/LC2 Accent 1.6l? We have the same ECU connector as the XD but with a different pinout. If nothing else it would be awesome to include us in the planning for the XD as I doubt it'll be much extra work to do. A GREAT option would be the ability to run the XD's Beta II through the Accent's wiring harness. The mechanical side of the Beta swap is simple but the electronic conversion scares a lot of people off. To do this the only change needed to make that plug and play in a LC/LC2 Accent (versus the XD) would be the connector pinout and possibly to change sensor types.

On another subject can the MS be made to control CVVT?

It's really that easy my man.

If you have other options, you may need to hook up more, but honestly, it took us less than 10 minutes to swap from stock to MS the last time we did it.

No wires to run. No cables to splice.

Nothing.

All we did is run a vacuum line to the IM and T it into an existing line. and mount it in place of the stock ECU.

Then the tuning, which took about 1.5 hours tops.

Do you have base maps now for tuning?

All I know that mine is running 100% stock right now with injectors and everything so this should work just as easy as it did for Jeremy until I start hooking up extras and tuning.
