I have a 98' Tibby and this is my first car. I want to trick it out to the fullest and i've been working on my car now for a while and ive been putting neons in it. I have been installing them with my father and i wanted to know if ne one has ne suggestions. I put neon tubes on my floors and neon pedals, but i got the idea of neon LED's in my heating vents from Strike Eagel's car. I like the way his came out and i might be using some of his ideas and putting some of them in my car.

and if you are going with the neon look.... you should get the halo rings to go inside the vents, i think wiring them is a b****. but it looks pretty cool after.

Wiring them is easy! The hard part was making them, which I still do and sell btw. How proficient are you at working with small scale electronics and soldering? That kinda says how much you can do, but there's no end of learning! I would go LEDs all the way, they last sooo much longer than neons.
I'll add a little more detailed response, but basically go for what I have, plus some others, and audio upgrades. Underseat, angel eyes, LEDs in heater and switches, either gauge cluster LEDs if you want to spend a lot of time, or EL gauges. Get a good looking H.U. and some decent speakers. If you want, try your hand at some fiberglass enclosures, but be reasonable... Get an aftermarket steering wheel, and possibly gauge pod replacement. I would recommend doing some paint accents, but be reasonable there too wink1.gif I'll be more than happy to answer any questions about all this, but it would help to know your skill level, what you want done to it, how illegal you want to be, and how much money you want to invest. fing02.gif

Don't forget under the hood!! drillsergeant.gif

yea well the amount of money isnt a whole mess but il be reasonable if i think it would be worth it... im proly not gunna do the lights in the dash like the little buttons and all but the cluster things that u have in the heater vents are realy cool looking...i like how they came out so i tried to do it myself..i didnt know that u did it with a whole round circle of LED's...i just put one in each of my door vents...sice i saw that u make them i was gunna ask how much it would cost me to have u make them for me nd mail them to me...i owuld love to have them for my car...nd if i had the choice..would i be able to have them in green. my next thing on the list would proly be the faces for my tak. and my spedominter...pending on how hard it is...my ability is high because my father is very very good with qorkin on cars and if i cant do it..he would be able to. he knows allot more than i do. I think i have to stick witht the whole green theme since thats wut all of my LEDs nd neons r...right? i would send u a pic of wut it looks like now but i cant figure out how to get a url for it nd how to put it on here...if u gove me ur email i 'll send it to ya tonight. Thanx

Dude, I can't read that, stop using your cell phone! I kinda understood what you said, but try it again on a computer...
PM me, and I'll give you my email, check the new user's area or search to see about posting pics - use photobucket.
I do the angel eyes for $60, it'll take me a week or two before I can get them completely made though.

I think you'd be happier with blue, but if you want to go green it would be easy enough.

You can also paint the dash and other parts green. It looks good when you go with a straight theme. Here's a pic of my car opened up durring the day http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f100/out...am/100_1846.jpg
