Wondering what you guys think..
Well I figured this is the best place to post, so I don't get warned/banned for putting it in the wrong forum..
You guys are putting a lot of money into your tibs, and so am I too, and my mom keeps getting mad, but that's not the point.
Most everybody has an 2001 or below, and, really that makes our cars kinda old. I was wondering how long you guys plan on keeping your tibs? I don't want to end up spending like more than I payed for the car, and end up selling it for like 3k or less, after putting all the money into it.
Our car's our supposed to hold up well after 100k miles and stuff right? So as long as you treat it right it should be good for quite a while..

How long are you going to have yours though? I want to get a Subaru Impreza WRX STi, but don't know if it'd be worth it to drive my tib till it literally starts falling apart..

i plan on keeping mine for a while. fvck the 3grand i'd rather have my tib instead. Hopefully she's planning the same thing and doesn't **** out on me for a few years still to come. Driving a 2000 right now, but if you look at some people here still have 97 tibs in 05 now that's a goood 8 years old and they're still running great.

resale values on tibs OWN!
Right now I have 104,000 miles and I drive a lot....approxamately 3-3.5g miles a month! Yeah, she's runnin fine though. My plan= take good care of her, drive her till something goes wrong that I don't have the money to fix (or don't see it as worth the money spent to fix it) and part her out because I won't be able to resale. I don't want to get rid of my tib any time soon. I'm nearing that mark where the mods I spent on her are squalling the price I paid for her (even though I only paid 2,000 cash) but I realized the price is well worth it. I'm just hoping she'll treat me well for another 80,000 miels or so....

I keeps the Tib until:
A) It gets so worthless I give it away
B) I blow the entire engine up and don't want to rebuild
C) I total it in my daily commute.
Option A is years away, Option B is years away (hopefully), Option C... well lets not talk about that. tongue.gif
